Sophie MARTIN was born in 1971, in France.

In her younger age, Sophie MARTIN has one wishes to drawing and in particular the animal sketches. It is thus quite naturally that she chooses an artistic orientation in the baccalauriat.

Following her courses in the Fine Arts in Cannes. She studies later during three years at the School of the Louvre in Paris.

It's in 1992 she discovers the clay which allowing her to create in volume. Her year spent in ceramist's workshop allows her to master this material, asserting herself as one of the most talented animal sculptors of moment.

Racehorses, crocodiles, elephants also dogs which seem to be alive and radiant of energy.
