JIEMEF was born in France in 1957.

Living in Vallauris, he mixed with an artistc world and from the age 5th years he shows a certain craze for painting.

Close to Roger CAPRON, renowed Vallauris's ceramist, who stimulates his creativity by making his work to the concepts of space, shape and color become its univers during his first twenty years.

At the same time, he studies Picasso and the comtemporary great masters and the extrème-oriental influences of the philosophers of China and Japan. Of this subtle alchemy is born a néo-figurative painting, even totally abstracted work.
